Because Daphne is blind to Fred's homosexuality?
In the original draft (which was essentially preppies/bros vs. weird nerds, with no magic dogs), Daphne was Doug. As such, Daphne is canonically trans.
I wanna read more about this draft, but when I Google it, I only get hits for the 2000s movie's earlier drafts.
Wouldn't that make her, canonically, a bitch?
I think he's asexual.
I suppose it's not impossible for asexual people to wear flamboyant red scarves.
It's an ascot
Not at all impossible.
Then why was he thrilled to see Daphne naked when they switched bodies?
Modern version, I take it? I always think of the 70s version of him. Modern version is presumably a boring old straight guy.

Longer time between that one and today compared to the original and me watching it so I’m not sure it’s modern
Those live action movies seem so different from the 70s show that they are almost their own thing. In my mind they are unrelated.
Oh, the live action movie one! Yeah, he's most definitely a straight guy.
It's 30+ years between the OG version and that movie but 20+ years from the movie to now, though.
Time from me watching it not the movie coming out, it was old when I watched it ~20 years
