The purpose of deer management is to regulate the population's size, reduce negative effects of population on the ecosystem, and maintain the integrity of other populations.
Ie to make sure nature doesn't get fucked.
You don't know what ecological conservation is, or you're actually against it..?
Lmao 'ecological conservation' is a great doublespeak for anthropocentric optimization
Stopping deer management would truly and utterly FUCK nature.
So that's what you want..?
We humans replaced apex predators a long time ago in most of the world. If we don't regulate the populations now, nature is fucked. Not just one species, not just one population, but the whole lot of them in the area that is being managed.
So unless your aim is purposefully to fuck an ecosystem and cause suffering to vast swathes of animals (and cause more accidents and problems with humans), then deer management is a must.
There's literally no other way.
Us fucking with nature is what started this problem. Step away and let nature do its thing. Also fuck cars.
