I don’t follow. How can I use the instance I am on to host images? I don’t admin the instance.
Probably depends on the instance. But by default Lemmy is set up to allow image uploads when making a post or a comment.
2 instances I’m on allow links but not uploads. Besides, if you load it to the instance, you’re now at the mercy of that instance’s admin, so it’s not really solving the problem IMO
