This is one of my favs.

Ironically my spouse and I have just started watching the series just to see what its all about.

Sailor Moon or one of David Lynch's? Ether way, good choice!

The former, though I do also need to watch through all of Twin Peaks. I suspect that may hold up better than Sailor Moon has, though Sailor Moon has still got a good bit going for it. It walked so others could fly, as they say.

Twin Peaks is fantastic, definitely worth watching. The revival season they did a few years ago is also really good.

I think as long as you can keep in mind what animation was like when it came out it holds up not so bad, very campy.

I love this. If it was cleaned up a little bit, I'd totally wear a tee shirt with this design.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I am very side tracked on this now, this was the best but there are a few others made after (this one came out first try believe it or not)

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Oh and I think you can put these on a shirt without much issue (not selling since you know, laws etc.) The image should be able to be changed how ever you like, go nuts. Also here is "sailor moon in a david lynch eraser head style."

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Odd dichotomy from "sailor moon relaxing after a night in the style of David Lynch."

What AI are you using for this?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The free bing DALL-E 3. The "blurst" of all the ais

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How do you get around copyright notices? Or are you being crazy descriptive

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sorry I do not follow? What do you mean copyright notices? I don't commercialize anything from AI generated images, and due to the nature of AI generated anything not being able to be copyrighted I am not sure what you mean.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They meant that AFAIK DALL•E 3 has some protections when you're trying to generate copyrighted subjects.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Ah, in that case not really, about the only thing I noticed is you can't name some characters like hello kitty but if you put in something like "in the style of sanrio" you will get hello kitty like so:

Some like Salior Moon, the Fresh prince of Bel Air or Cthulhu have no issues being used. I think like a lot of things the "protections" are so halfassed I did not even notice them.

Sure X3 "sailor moon in hr geiger style."

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Weirdly not as weird as I thought it would be.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I think you would need to toss in something more to do with a setting or place as that is more what makes hr geiger spooky.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It would have been funny if it had sailor moon chest bursting the pilot/space jockey.

Trying: "sailor moon sitting in the machine overlooking a bio-technical dark landscape. HR geiger style."

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Not bad at all, kinda reminds me of og Astro boy.

Some more have a different feel:

Prompt turned out nice?

yes, nice one

except for the usual alien fingered hands

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

The hand isn't too bad: four visible fingers that are mostly okay and the pinky could be hidden by perspective if she's curling her hand (to hold the rose perhaps).

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I find that it adds to the effect a bit.

Here is a picture of "cthulhu in the style of 80's romance book cover" in these troubled times:

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

The messed up writing gives this one an actual flair of incomprehensible, eldritch horrors.. I like that with my current Sunday morning headache.

Maybe use "hands" in the negative prompt.

Like the feel of the image, though.

No negative prompts on the binger baybee!
