He puts his arm up as if to say play on the changes his mind with Grealish in a great position. Mind blowing incompetence.
Football / Soccer / Calcio / Futebol / Fußball
For a club that pays the ref city sure do get howlers given against them (just never against chelsea)
he gave the advantage but pulled back while after the pass to grealish, so he just… assumed grealish didn’t get the ball? why’d he pull it back, he thought spurs won the ball but clearly didn’t see that grealish did, absolutely terrible from the ref
Absolutely horrible call
Sky commentators scared to say anything for like two minutes
About time they got some bad decisions against them for once
A masterclass in premier league officiating.
Oof that’s bad
What a shitty call from a shitty ref
Wtf Haaland gets up so quickly too. Ref could have hesitated for half a sec but decided no. What a fucking clown
Spurs are the luckiest team in the world. That and the Liverpool game is insane.
When there's an incompetence competition and my opponent is a Premier League referee
Referees being inconsistently shite. First time?
Was Grealish offside? Only way that that would make sense
I’ve said it before, but with the amount of mistakes made, any other profession you lose your job. This lot all just pat each other on the back - don’t be defensive just fix the poor quality. Everyone gets a bad decision once in a while, but it’s every bloody week!
they literally started an initiative about two seasons ago to let any potential goal opportunity play out and check for offsides/fouls after the goal, what the fuck was he thinking here
Oh woaw. That is awful! First he says play on, which is good. And after that great pass he pulls jt back? We need an interview from him. What was he thinking?!
The fucking balls to say “calm” to the players too
I hate city but this is infuriating
absolutely criminal
I’m a United supporter but this is fucking insane, makes you think he did it on purpose or has a bet on a draw or something. Absolutely insane decision.
ROBBED

He played the advantage and then pulled back 💀
Premier League referees are a disgrace
I wonder if Simon Hooper has been involved in any other controversial Spurs games.
Oh my.
Shocking. Needs to be suspended for that.
Story of our night can't take a trick.
That was fucking crazy bad
I though City were bribing the refs
Absolute robbery lol
PGMOL finding new ways to be controversial each week. This is completely absurd when they’re supposed to let play go on and pull it back later if advantages/benefits of doubt don’t work.
This is after an initial signal lol.
Lol that’s actually awful. I would be furious
The level of the Premier League referees is atrocious. Haaland’s fuck off was on point.
that’s awful ngl
So fucking strange
I hate City but that’s some certifiable BS
+4 points for spurs due to shitty ref decisions
Not even a city fan and I screamed at my TV when he blew the whistle. Moronic officiating as per usual
Ref's had a absolute mare there
And nothing will change.
There’s some serious bullshit going on with referees right now
"City get the favourable decisions" crew gonna be real quiet on this one
The refs in this league are so horrendously bad it’s not even funny anymore.
Honestly, a fucking shocking decision by the refree There's a clear advantage to be played here
He gives the advantage and then takes it back.. very weird
I haven’t seen a referee call for something totally unique like this in such a big game for so long
So he actually gives the advantage, but when Haaland manages to find Graelish through on goal he pulls it back??
