The ref really gave advantage after the foul on haaland... Haaland then put grealish through on goal and then he blew the whistle💀

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Who's the best team City have beat this season? Brighton? Leipzig? Newcastle?

Feels like they're sleepwalking more than a little bit. Anfield, St. James' and White Hart Lane to visit in the second half of the season. And it feels like Arsenal will be a little bit more serious as title contenders this season.

Another amazing result for Ange. Look at the state of that team Spurs have put out. Brilliant stuff.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Pep was right, this was fun!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

1000% City is fuming at the refs because they need someone to blame

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

How on earth did he blow the whistle as soon as the ball went into the air on that advantage, lmao. What a fucking match, had everything right down to the final whistle.

That's genuinely an insane result for spurs with that back line.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Haaland was fuming

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Officiating is getting worse every week, the fanbases need to stop laughing at each other and work together to affect a change cause it's literally a matter of time before shit decisions occur to them.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I would have been sent off with a red after that call if I was a City player/coach.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

ref not playing advantage there gotta be up there as one of the worst refereeing decisions in recent memory

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Why does ANGELOS Posthecogloo not put Xi players behind the ball???? Does BREXIT mean nothing to these foruns??? He's probably using those """injured""" players to steal the Elgin Marbles!!!!11!one

Your media analysis of Sours for the past month summarised there.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I know every team deals with injuries but God I wish we had 2 decent centre backs last few games

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Should've been a red for the ref for denying a goal scoring opportunity lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

1 game without bullshit decisions is all I ask

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Each week we reach new and unprecedented levels of Barclays.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Haaland couldn't score againts Emerson and Davies

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Just copying Pep mate

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Guardiola and Haaland have to get charged for those protests. If that was Arsenal, Gary Neville and Sky would be talking about Arteta's behavior non-stop for the next week.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Get fucked /r/soccer.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Horrible from the ref on the advantage there, but it’s fucking insane not a single player got a card for dissent there. Haaland is still going on about it.

Edit: Haaland did get one, but at least Grealish should’ve for going on about it to the assistant referee

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If Haaland doesn't get suspended for physically attacking the ref I'll be shocked

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Just an utterly shocking decision at the end but there’s no guarantee grealish scores anyway. Fair result imo

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Kulu is such a machine, never stops

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Peak comedy, would only have funnier if Richy got a late winner after that ridiculous advantage pullback when Grealish was through

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Sky commentary is absolute cancer. Flip flopping between us being lunatics and genius is too much. Used to respect the opinions of Neville and Carragher but they're a fine line away from TalkSport twats

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

In a game where Spurs plays 4 FBs and Biss trying too throw away the game, City only scores 3.

Sloppy from City.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If I speak I will be in danger

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Red had a really good game until that one brain fade at the end

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Welp, missed out on all the drama just because I wanted a glimpse of Xabi-ball.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

People acting like Grealish would have scored from a 40 yard carry and 1v1 anyway

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That ref fucked city so hard 😂😂

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That’s fucking abysmal from the ref at the end there

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

City could be on a 10 season unbeaten streak playing against a Spurs side that had been relegated to League One and I'd still fancy Spurs to get a result tbh

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

How was Gvardiol not off the pitch?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Have some respect for yourself ref, straight reds for the entire City team for arguing your brain dead decision to not play the advantage

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

what a matchday - all time great

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

A point for spurs should be considered a dub considering they’re playing fucking Emerson as a cb.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Spurs gonna Spurs lol. I like that they’ve given up on defending entirely and just going to wildly score instead.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

How have Man City become this leaky defensively? Wild.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Son is just so good. Feeding off the tiniest scraps and just delivers.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Can’t believe the ref didn’t let grealish play on when he had a 1:1 with the keeper

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Loses half the squad, has zero center backs, loses three games in a row only to break it by drawing the best team in the world away

Why do they have to be like this

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Ederson vs Onana?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If you think about how many injuries Spurs have right now that's a pretty good result when City could have maybe be up by a lot more in first half and squandered the chances.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

yall realize ref blew that play dead well before Grealish makes his run. You can see he blows the whistle as soon as Haaland is going backwards. He then has to blow it again once the ball is played which makes it look worse than it was

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

lose vs 3 easier teams and take points of City

literally perfect for Arsenal and Liverpool lmao

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

NGL Mateball is very fun to watch

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

That was quite the match from an outsider's perspective, it got even better when the crowd got into it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The result suits the club I support; but dear god, seeing another stunningly stupid call by Simon Hooper in Spurs' favor really annoyed me.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (5 children)

Arsenal fans celebrating as if they won the league, forgetting they bottled like a 10 point lead last year.

Why do you do it to yourselves ? Why do you allow your hopes to go so high and get clowned on when city go above you again?

Remember when everyone was shitting on Tottenham for winning the league in October?

Here is said image of Grealish definitely scoring his 3v1 from the halfway line (I still think it’s a terrible referee decision)
