It looks like anything linked to i.redd.it works, but not i.imgur.com, imgur.com, or i.redgifs.com.

It's actually a problem on the imgur side on mobile, if you open the image link (and get a not-found page with a random SFW pic) and switch it to desktop mode then the real image loads.
