To be fair, chicken stock and chicken broth are two separate things.
I feel like it needs to be pointed out that “broth” and “stock” are not the same thing. So, the joke only works if the listener is ignorant about the key element being punned.
I don't know the difference :(
Or is aware of the confusion about the terms
