Not sure I'd call an old economy sedan a "large automobile"
It's large because it has 4 passenger seats. A medium automobile would be a car the size of a sports car with two seats. A small automobile is pretty much an ATV/Quadricycle with one seat, but meant for roads. Small and medium automobiles are popular in India. There's also highway tractors, vans, and trucks, but those are cargo vehicles not automobiles.
The children I ran over sure thought it was.
