In most situations both interviewer and interviewee are thinking the same thing and saying the "right" thing because our capitalist overlords made us comply.
We live in a fucked up world.

Yeah, interviews suck. It's basically a contest of who can make themselves sound like they fit the position most whilst reading between the lines.
Like exams, it's the most artificial way of testing someone's ability and personality, and almost certainly doesn't reflect what they're actually like as a person.
I think this society is just not for everyone. But it is the reality we are living in, so I try to make the best out of it I can.
It is important to focus your mental energy on things that really matter to you, but that is only possible after having a decent income.
It is tragic but it is what it is. Take care of yourself and eachother
