So when sharing the information about an offered item a activitypub post is made that embedds a rss feed item with an access permission check?

As currently implemented the shared items system is entirely separate from ActivityPub. Items are stored as json, but in no particular format, and when shared the DFC format is generated.

Have you considered supporting GNU-Taler in Epicyon?
