"they" is always a person, usually paying for it from their own pocket. Maybe better stay on Google Photos with that kind of consumerist attitude?

Yeah, if you're not paying for it yourself you may succeed at some form of obfuscation for privacy reasons but it's ultimately a failure of principle. If you want something put in the effort and/or the cost required. Doing that supports the good people that make the world go 'round and keeps you from being a product.

The integration with Nextcloud/WebDAV without duplication (?) seems interesting.

Anyone know if it is just the ML face recognition that makes it require 8GB RAM? Seems quite excessive otherwise for what it does.

How does is store the photos on the file system? Sinds fore ever I have one folder with subfolders like this: Foto folder/

  • yyyy-mm-dd - name of event/photo.jpg
  • 2021-01-01 - New years day/
  • Etz

If i load them in to LiberePhoto does that have to change?
