Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

My wallpaper doesn't appear on the desktop, even if I reset it in the desktop settings session. And I don't know what to do. My Distro and some specs: Endeavous OS (Arch) Kernel: 5.13.9 DE: XFCE RAM: 8 GB Chipset: Intel Core i5 7th Gen
Have you tried using a wallpaper setter like nitrogen or feh? Just to make sure that it is not the fault of Xorg.
I haven't done that yet! I'll use one of these setters and get back here to let you know if it worked or not ... (And sorry for my English. I'm not a native speaker. My English is very basic)
