/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

There's a lot of hoopy froods around here.

I wish I had the energy to do a Hitchhiker's meme battle tonight. :(

No worries. It'll come back around. Take care of yourself for the time being.

I'm fine, it's just been a long week and my brain thinky hurt pain.

Listen I know you're married but wanna go on a date sometime?

Only if my wife lets me. That said, my daughter got this peach smoothie today that had peanut butter in it and she didn't tell me it had peanut butter in it and I tried it and it was foul and then I found out my wife told her about it because she loves it too and now I'm hoping for one of those Sliding Doors situations where I'm suddenly in an alternate universe with a different family that doesn't drink that sort of unholy abomination. So you have a chance.

Okay I'm not going to lie... that sounds delicious and I want to try it.

Now you have no chance. To hell with all three of you.

Downside:

It's only made with skim milk, and they use far too much.

>enjoy poetry

You realise that, although Data's poetry is indeed astoundingly bad, worse things happen at sea, and in fact, at school. With an effort for which Hercules himself would have patted you on the back, you grit your teeth and enjoy the stuff.

Man I loved that game. I still have an original copy around somewhere which still has the included peril sensitive sunglasses (they're made of black cardboard, but they're technically fully functional because there's peril everywhere you look).

I spent hours on that game. I played it on a C64.
