Dont use fire tablets. They exist solely to scrape data and thrust ads into your face

Android tablets are already not that great.

You have Amazon, using their tablets to forcefeed their content.

Samsung is ok, but you can see they are also trying to take over Android with their own upgrades.

I don't really trust the cheap tablet makers with my Google account.

I wish Google made something different than the Pixel Tablet. It feels more like a home consumption device when I'm really looking for a remote consumption device.

I miss the day when we could literally pick a cutlery knife, pry open the plastic case, re-enable root access via the debug port, and flash LineageOS into these Fire tablets.

Is it impossible these days to un-Amazon a Fire tablet? I'd love to have a cheap tablet and someone suggested this was a way...
