Wow, that's a wild move. I wonder what they want to gain from that? I'm using Suse Tumbleweed. Switches after 15 years of kubuntu and like it a lot. KDE+rolling release rocks.

I haven't dabbled with SuSE in quite some time. I thought it used RPM for package management but wasn't actually directly RHEL based, right? So amid all the hubub of RedHat doing their thing with the source code SUSE is deciding to start being a straight up RHEL fork? That is pretty crazy if I'm reading it right. How would that affect end users?
