got the soundbar for free with the TV awhile back. It performed ok in my small room but I hate the inconsistency of volume and limited flexibility. Is it a good move to 3.1? Thinking of going 3.1 route as below:

Already have: (currently my office set up for lite use)

  • Yamaha TSR 7850
  • Pair of Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2

Looking to buy:

  • subwoofer (open to suggestions for a small living room setup 14ftx16ft)
  • Elac Debut C5.2 (is this enough for center channel? or should I spend extra for the 6.2?) only reason is I found a used C5.5 for $100
