This update implements 2 very popular features. I've already spoiled one of the features. The other one I will reveal in the official release post.

This will be the last update where big user requests will be implemented. I will be switching back to only implementing core features after this, maybe with some minor user request changes if they are small. This update (v0.1.30) should make the app usable for the majority of users and support the most common use cases.

Changes so far:

  • Add setting to enable gesture actions
  • Add ???
  • Support Android's new themed icons feature
  • Make the post title input field multiline
  • Support comment links. Eg. https://lemmy.world/comment/1147256
  • Fix popup menu using wrong colors

Update 2

I pepega'd and didn't press the submit button on the update. Just hit it now. Might be another hour :D

Update 3

Found some bugs late into testing. Doing a hotfix release. Updated version in the title.

Update 4

Another hotfix on the way. This one will persist your page/scroll state if the app has been backgrounded or if you rotate the screen.

When sending a post, the place where we write the title does not go to the bottom line. If we wrote a long title, we can make typos because we cannot see the title completely. If it's easy to fix this, please fix it. If it is difficult, it can be added to the roadmap.

It's easy. Consider it done.

Edit: Also I would consider this a bug and not a feature request. I will continue to prioritize fixing bugs.

Upvote gesture has arrived! Is there a way to downvote with gestures enabled?

Unfortunately not right now :(. There will be a setting later to change what the swipe does
