Kind of feels like a stylistic choice here, with spelling going off the rails as soon as they start talking about ugly.
Nothing drives engagement like spelling mistakes.

The entire "drama" around Fable's MC not being conventionally attractive is one of the worst things to come out of Twitter. Such a large amount of people genuinely believe that women in media literally only exist to be objectified and sexualized. It's on a long list of proof that gamer culture as a whole is one of the most toxic, misogynistic, and delusional cultures online and in the first world.
If you think the Fable bullshit was bad, wait til you see what those troglodytes are still saying about the objectively gorgeous and arguably very sympathetic Aloy of the Horizon games 🤦
I don't think Oblivion players in particular have any choice in playing non-ugly character.
You do, it just takes an absurd amount of time and precision to morph that blob into something adequate
Or use some mods.
