same here. unfortunately framework doesn't offer a trackpoint
It looks like they're selling entire mainboards which is a total gamechanger for laptop upgradability
As soon as they develop an ethernet port module, I'm in! Thankfully, it looks like I won't have to wait for very long:
The Framework laptop is amazing, finally giving control to customers, however. has a big problem, the cost, this laptop is aimed to end planned obsolescence, but the laptop costs ~1000$, so it is likely cheaper to buy a standard 400$ laptop and every time it “breaks” simply replace. most people do not need high performance anyways.
It's the first generation of the product, if everything goes well, costs will go down.
