If you're looking for something like goodreads or bookwyrm but aren't interested in the social features, I can't recommend this enough.

Searching for books in openlibray to add to the app is a mess. Sometimes it is taking too much time, sometimes not getting any result or titles without any book cover. I really wanted this to work properly. Its just so close at becoming my only solution.

In that regard BookWyrm works better since it is a collaborative effort and most of the books have a cover and description unless they are too rare.

It's not ideal, yeah. I've been able to make do with manually adding covers but it's a mess...

Seems it's Android only for the moment? I'd prefer a desktop solution.
