Yeah kinda. Some fuel trade took place via rupee-rouble exchange. But using the Yuan is not something I had heard of before.

Welcome to the multipolar world. American sanctions have finally achieved the creation of a world where alternative economic systems are emerging that will be completely outside western control. The direct outcome of all this will be that western economy is going to shrink and we'll likely see a completely separate financial system emerge that's driven by BRICS.
