This should be made illegal and BMW should have at least 51% of its entire value nationalized. The other 49% should go to the workers.

Wait, is there no option to buy it outright? Are you paying a subscription in perpetuity?

Also, Tesla does something similar. Their cars have a built in power and battery limit that you need to pay extra to remove.
