Yeah, Netflix is over. Too many competitors, too many shows that weren't successful past the first two seasons, rising subscription prices, not to mention hostility towards VPN users and password sharing fees. At this point it's easier just to pirate what you want to watch. Again.

Not to mention the huge increase in new cold war propaganda and pro-hard drugs content over the last 5ish years. Netflix is a dumpster fire.

Time to go sail the high seas, aye.

I'm still a subscriber, and I greatly prefer the user experience of Netflix (as imperfect as it is) compared to Disney Plus or Amazon Prime Video, or even YouTube

It's almost as though nobody at these companies even tries to use their own apps

Pirate websites often have better user experience than Netflix & variants.

I don't know about that

Didn't the earnings go up 8%? To be honest. This does not sound too bad then.

Even if earnings go up in the short term, a collapse in their customer base is eventually going to hit profits. It also affects share prices, since share prices are supposed to reflect the future value of the stock.

Why do you think it will definitely collapse. Couldn't their subscriber numbers stabilise somewhere? 2

It could, but it's going to be a significant reduction from previous expectations.

if you're technically inclined and like watching stuff, i highly suggest kodi with debrid addons. i have mine running on a raspi3b+ connected to my tv, it's like netflix for everything. my debrid service is like $13 a month and has a terabyte cloud with rss torrent downloads, usenet, vpn, voip, and high speed downloads from premium services. don't wanna advertise here but if you ask i'll link you. or just search debrid
