Beekeeper Studio is a cross-platform SQL editor and database manager available for Linux, Mac, and Windows. Beekeeper Studio Community Edition is GPL licensed so it is free (libre) and free (gratis).

Kinda similar to the database features in the paid Jetbrain IDE's.

Works really great. I use it a lot and the interface is easy to navigate.

How does it compare to dbeaver?

I didn’t use Dbeaver for long, but what I can say is that even if Dbeaver is a more mature software, Beekeeper is improving fast, and has a nicer and modern UI compared to Dbeaver. The only thing I miss right now for Beekeeper, is the ability to make ER Diagrams, but is in develdevelopment.
