Rules for Posting Guides on Our Community

1. Defining a Guide Guides are comprehensive reference materials, how-tos, or comparison tables. A guide must be well-organized both in content and layout. Information should be easily accessible without unnecessary navigation. Guides can include flowcharts, step-by-step instructions, or visual references that compare different elements side by side.

2. Infographic Guidelines Infographics are permitted if they are educational and informative. They should aim to convey complex information visually and clearly. However, infographics that primarily serve as visual essays without structured guidance will be subject to removal.

3. Grey Area Moderators may use discretion when deciding to remove posts. If in doubt, message us or use downvotes for content you find inappropriate.

4. Source Attribution If you know the original source of a guide, share it in the comments to credit the creators.

5. Diverse Content To keep our community engaging, avoid saturating the feed with similar topics. Excessive posts on a single topic may be moderated to maintain diversity.

6. Verify in Comments Always check the comments for additional insights or corrections. Moderators rely on community expertise for accuracy.

Community Guidelines

The depreciation of each of these cars is more than I've ever paid for a vehicle.

A lot of info on that chart, but it doesn't show the original MSRP.

But you can have a fun game and calculate it from the % and the negative value amount! Fun sunday activity!

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

Just divide the lost value by the percentage as a decimal

from all those car shapes the escalade looks the dumbest

It intimidates the air into moving aside

It demands to talk to the air's manager.

I think the Infiniti QX80 looks the dumbest. Like a cartoon submarine on wheels.

A shame. Because stylistically I really like Maserati. Guess one day Iโ€™ll just buy a lightly used largely depreciated one lol

Iโ€™d never consider owning an Italian car without a bulletproof warranty or serious โ€œF youโ€ money. They arenโ€™t exactly known for reliability.

Yeah itโ€™s not the choice for your daily driver. Def an enthusiast segment of cars haha.

FIAT = Fix It Again, Tony

One thing Iโ€™m missing here is the average mileage on those cars. My impression is that people who buy an Audi A7, for example, might drive far more than average in a given year.

[โ€“] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago

Is this before or after cyberfuckup

[โ€“] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago

Oh, for at least a few seconds I thought the photos of the cars were the same placeholder illustration, haha.

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

Gotta love it, just bought a 4-year old Audi for like 1/2 the MSRP

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Yeah obviously luxury cars suck and only idiots buy them.

Is this the market showing the true worth of a vehicle?
