MODERATORS

I recently wrote a privacy tool review on Lemmy, but it got removed, which is disheartening.

Can't even tool reviews here?

I spent almost 30 minutes crafting that post, and people were engaging in deep technology conversations.

I really like Lemmy than Reddit, now I am disapointing...

Your post is lacking details: Where did you post your review? What community?

The only ones able to remove your post are the instance admins (pick an instance you trust) and the community mods (pick a community where you agree with their rules).

If you got your content removed here then it was either wildly inappropriate or you broke community rules.

If you check the modlog, your post was removed for breaking rule 7 which is "No memes allowed as posts".

Where can we check the mod log?

Enter community address followed by "/modlog". You can filter by username too.

Check the sidebar and find the "modlog" link at the bottom, just above the list of mods - the link will differ for each instance so I can't give you a direct link.
