Definitely. They’ve been cutting school funding for decades. They have to make sure the population is stupid or they’d never win an election.

As a non American I actually think most Americans are intelligent. Sure they lack some general knowledge but they generally have passion and have something that they dedicate themselves to. This is my experience talking online to the 18-35 bracket of people.

The world today is so much more than what we learn in school.
