Sunlight tends to be negligible during snowfall season, anyway.

I think the problem might be that our car parks just aren't all that big, and there's other infrastructure that needs to be built to accompany DC grid sources like this, they don't just plug straight in.

There's lots of normal sized car parks dotted all over, very few of them are really of any particular size, and the ones that are are usually multi storey car parks to save on footprint anyway.

Does this work in places where it snows? I feel like these would be terrible to plow around and build up icy berms and such.

But your car wouldn't be crusted in ice/snow. So, that would be nice.

I imagine solar is much more economical in warmer states anyway.

These would definitely let in a lot of snow anything that wasn't coming down at a straight down angle and snow blows a lot
