What is a ruin? We’re running off of “You know it when you see it” at the moment. Ruins should be non-functioning structures of some age, or their function reduced to tourism and the like.

Oh right. The terraces. The terraces for Cusco. The terraces built specifically to decorate Cusco. Cusco's terraces. Those terraces?

If memory serves those could produce quite a bit of agriculture products.

One of the things that fascinates me about pre-contact Americas are the farming techniques. Mesoamerica had chinampas (in the lakes) and South America (the mountainous area at least) had terraces.
