#WhatchaReading ? I'm rereading Magic Flutes, which is a bit of a second-tier Ibbotson for me, after A Company of Swans and A Countess Below Stairs, but still decidedly good.

Also have the new Aster Glenn Grey but am a bit disappointed that what would seem important story elements all happened off-page.

@willaful @romancelandia @romancebooks I’m reading 4 Hints You Love Your Best Friend by Kelly Siskind. It’s a contemporary romance, friends-to-lovers, slow burn.

I fnished Magic Flutes and remembered why it's a second-tier book for me, despite having many delightful qualities. I just can't stand reading about people getting taken advantage of, even with -- especially with, perhaps -- their own cooperation. Even though all turns out well, there's a section of the book that required me to take tums.

@MichiganPal Eva Ibbotson. It's sometimes published as The Reluctant Heiress.
