I just got fired mainly because of shortage of work but also because of concentration disorders and not ending errors in my work due to my depression/ptsd... Feels weird...
Technically I was Terminated Without Cause.This was a long time ago. The law firm's HR manager said "we should line up all the homeless in front of a cannon". I quoted this on my blog without saying who said it or where I worked, and a legal secretary saw it and reported me. They didn't want the publicity, so they gave me a 6 month severance.
It got on the news anyway, but not via me.
Also, fuck you Kathy!
...one other note: Kathy was eventually fired for hiding the fact her son was sexually harassing legal secretaries. I hope she was frog-marched out.
End of April this year, literally asked another teams manager if they needed help but I didn’t want to handle users if they could help it. They took it the wrong way (???) and their manager brought in my manager and I was termed for being “unprofessional”. Almost 6 years with this org. New job is so much better with a pay bump on top of it.
