Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

This guy, Andrewism is right on most things. An uncompromising vision of a commons based economy, solarpunk city planning, and a more radical understanding of the end of work than many "radicals." Give him views, let the videos play through 'till the end if you like 'em.

I think Solarpunk and library economies do a particularly good job of providing a positive vision to strive for rather than a negative vision to push back against. The concepts are simple to understand without lacking depth. I don’t know organized proponents of these ideas are, but I’d like to see more.

The autonomist left in Europe is an organized force for commoning.

It also sees expression in thr 4th world nationalist movement, for example, the way many tribes hold their land in trust or assert land claims through occupations like the Oka Crisis, the Wetsuweten camps or Landback Lane.

There are lots of micro scale expressions, like tool libraries, really free markets, community land trusts, etc.

The Venezuelan commune system does commoning when its operating at its best.
