The holes on the inside say bugs to me. Puffballs are usually white. I know it's small, but the shell still looks too big, should be eggshell thin.

Imo, there are safer and tastier mushrooms out there. Like a king bolete or an oyster mushroom.

It's too bug-eaten to tell if it's all-white on the inside. I would avoid it because you can't really sight-ID it.

Also the shell around the outside is too thick (should be eggshell thin) imo there's a good chance it's an Earthball (also poisonous, but not destroying angel poisonous).

Get Mike Beuge's dichotomous key, it'll really help you not die.

And the Iowa caucus was only last week. Crazy.

On further read, you guys kind of feel at the very least like the left-wing equivalent of somethingawful.com.

Oh my God that's genuinely so sweet

We were a lifeboat for /r/chapotraphouse since it's been banned. We were running a proprietary version of lemmy for most of that time and only joined the main fork a month ago.

Oh yeah, for sure, my emotions have all gotten less. Less high, less low, I've just chilled out in every direction

He's also one of the dudes who calls himself an anarchist and then rides the line where you're never sure if he's a cryptofash or a just a conspiracy theory guy. So like, this makes a ton of sense but also feels a little like a betrayal.

I've seen it yield good results. It's also got a strong history in the US, Google "IWW double boring"

So, not just trot but anarchist too.

The IWW will teach you how to "dual card" where your part of a buisness union, but form an IWW committee to do direct action your main union won't do

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That's the legal way to switch unions, yeah. Your rep can also create a "service agreement" where you pay dues to your union in name but interact with reps from a different union.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 years ago

It's usually traded for no-lockout, closed shop and dues checkoff. If they don't get those, then it's an open shop where reps are spending all their time collecting dues and the employer can lay everyone off without just cause.

Sometime they negotiate contracts without it for the sake of a first contract, but it's rare, and tends to reduce membership rates.

There's a cool middle ground UE does sometimes where they get language about striking over grievances or safety issues.

IBT has another cool workaround where they can respect other unions' picket lines.

It's not super unusual in Healthcare, but nurses build their whole identity around care, so it makes sense.

This guy, Andrewism is right on most things. An uncompromising vision of a commons based economy, solarpunk city planning, and a more radical understanding of the end of work than many "radicals." Give him views, let the videos play through 'till the end if you like 'em.

I know it's /r/worldnews but Jesus fucking christ.
