Hi all,

I am having some issues when using the latest Lutris installer. The lutris installer says to not login and exit out of the client when it is done downloading. When I exit out of the client, wine gives the following error:

wine client error:424: write: Bad file descriptor

The Wine version that Lutris installs during the process is lutris-ge-lol-8.7-1-x86_64.

I have tried many things such as using different versions of wine, double checking my graphics drivers, and removing .wine directory and so on. Has anyone seen this issue before? Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

I had this issue too, this answer from another thread helped me:

After closing the client after successful instalation, additionally killing the client process (apparently it did not get killed properly by exiting).

I just hit exit from the system tray instead of hitting close on the window and that worked for me.

Hope it helps you too!

Thanks a lot! Ran into this issue today. Killing the RiotClientServices.exe process did the trick.
