how do they make money? there's no ads and it's free
YouTube was like that too
even if they suddenly put ads on it (which would be stupid since no ads is one of their main selling points) it'd still be better than twitter/threads

they're fediverse mascots. i'm not sure about the middle two, but the far left one represents Sharkey (a transfriendly misskey fork) and the far right one represents Pleroma (a fediverse platform written by far right chuds that's been forked into akkoma about it)
but why does it say bluesky? bleusky is not fedi
I recognize Akko but who are the others?
I'm surprised the shark isn't Gura.
