"Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!" Trump said in a post on his Truth Social site, referring to those convicted for storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, after Trump claimed falsely that he had won the 2020 election.

This is actually hilarious, because Trump could have pardoned them from Jan. 6 - Jan. 19, 2021, but did not.

Do you think he'll do it this time to much fanfare or just ignore them again because they're useless to him? I could see it going either way.

The smart move would be to pardon them immediately, and heavily imply (or, let's be honest, it's Trump - flat out state) that he will similarly pardon anyone who kisses the ring and is unflinchingly loyal.

Of course, Trump isn't known for being smart, so your guess is as good as mine.

He should appoint him to be ambassador to France for the last few months.

I don't fault a parent for protecting their child. Perks of being the president's kid, I suppose.

Good. This whole prosecution effort was a witch hunt by political haters.
