Real unfortunate news for GrapheneOS users as Revolut has decided to ban the use of 'non-google' approved OSes. This is currently being posted about and updated by GrahpeneOS over at Bluesky for those who want to follow it more closely.

Edit: had to change the title, originally it said Uber too but I cannot find back to the source of ether that's true or not..

Why do people like BlueSky/Twitter for sharing long-form information?

That is such a terrible way to convey that much information. The continuation of posting every half-scroll is so jarring and made it harder to follow.

  1. Why can i only answer to this comment, and not to the whole post?

  2. Can someone explain what this means like I am 5? Will my revolut app stop working on graphene?

I've basically switched to using the browser for most things I would've used an app for. I wish more apps worked on GrapheneOS without Google Play Services and with the standard attestation API, but the web experience likely isn't going away for most services, so I'm not too worried.
