I just watched the video (link below), as someone who played CS for a few months when it came out in 2000, and then played the single player campaign of CS:GO in 2012, can someone explain to me what was this all about? What is cs gambling, what are people gambling on? Other people winning? And why would that be on specialized casinos and not in your run of the mill online sports betting websites? What am I missing?

Explain it to me like I am a millennial single game player.
