You are asking yourself that because the copyright propaganda works.

If a game is not sold anymore in any legal store, the copyright protection that makes piracy illegal should decay. If I can't legally puy a game anymore, why can't I have it from other sources?

Instead, we have this. A company removes a game from the market and you can't play it anymore.

What we should be asking is why should that handheld be illegal to sell at all?

@[email protected] it’s not crime, it’s archiving

China.

The only bad thing these dudes do is to sell it with games included.

They do not do a favor to anyone as they boost their sales of counterfeit SD cards and the low quality ROMs.

@[email protected] Does it include the games, or did you have to add them? The hardware patents are such that clone consoles are totally legal. It's the software that gets dicey.

@[email protected] yeah lots of roms loaded up. Though less then all the YouTube videos from months ago. Surprised Amazon lets this much copywrite infringement on their store.

@[email protected] They don't control it anymore, and call it a marketplace instead. They also have a lot of stuff that's toxic or radioactive, as well as some painfully obvious scams.

If this is an Anbernic handheld (which I am pretty sure it is) they already include a considerable amount of ROMs... But most of them are not worth dealing with as they often come broken lol.
