That there is thermal paper heavily coated in teratogenic bisphenols and thermally reactive dyes. No ink, the printer uses heat to create images.
No ink, since it's thermal paper. But probably more paper than you or I could comprehend

(I’m guessing it’s pretty wasteful, though I’m sure they could figure out ways that are even worse)
