Trump, a Republican who will succeed Democratic President Joe Biden, repeated his threat that "all hell will break out in the Middle East" if Hamas does not release the hostages by the time he takes office. "It will not be good for Hamas, and it will not be good, frankly, for anyone," he said.

From the Reuters take on the same news.

Reading through a few different sources, Trump sounds like he's holding Hamas at fault for everything, which I can't imagine is going to be good for anyone in Gaza

Probably the one Trump kept repeatedly telling Netanyahu to say no to in their private phone calls.

And Biden had zero leverage right? Biden couldn't have even conditioned the weapons? The reality is Biden was all-in on the genocide. Liberals tried to scare us with Trump being worse instead of stopping Biden.

Sounds like they were planning to stop the whole time but purposefully decided to wait until Trump won so they could pretend Trump is a good deal maker. I don't buy it.

Nobody admits that they were "forced" to do something without a political impetus behind it. Don't be ignorant.

Edit: it's quite clear OP has an agenda here lol

The least Biden could have done was to not veto a ceasefire four times at the UN and condition -not stop- the military aid on negotiating with good faith. But then again Biden was bought and paid for at the tune of 4.2 million dollars by pro-Israel lobbyists. Biden never wanted the genocide to stop, that’s the reality.

“If Blinken and the US administration would have liked this war to be over, this war would be over. Continuing to supply Israel with weapons and to beg Israel to stop the war is quite a farce. This is not international relations, this is a children’s game.” – Gideon Levy, Haaretz
