I wonder if we will see flatpaks on the server at some point. It would need to be daemonized but it should be possible.

From what I understand, they'd have to completely rewrite how flatpaks work for server support.
From flatpak.org: "Flatpak is designed to run inside a desktop session and relies on certain session services, such as a D-bus session bus and, optionally, a systemd --user
instance."
I suppose that makes sense. I just like how clean and lightweight bubblewrap is. I have used it to sandbox things in the past and it works surprisingly well.
