Ukraine struck several targets deep inside Russia on Tuesday in what it says is its "most massive" attack of the war so far.

Ammunition depots and chemical plants were hit across several regions, some of which were hundreds of kilometres from the border, according to the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces.

Sources in Ukraine's SBU intelligence agency told the BBC the overnight attack was a "painful blow" to Russia's ability to wage war.

Better set the fuck out of the precedent before Trump takes power. Russia's about to have the most powerful empire in history backing up their "that's a red line, no fair for you to do that" whines of outrage.

The only tiny solace I take in the whole impending disaster is that Trump is just as shitty a partner in geopolitics as he is in business or, I don't even want to say it, marriage. Russia may be planning on getting some mileage out of him that he's simply too dysfunctional as a person to deliver.
