Loops will have a very easy onboarding process, allowing you to use your existing Mastodon or Pixelfed account and create a new separate Loops account with your avatar, bio, and even following suggestions.

Looking forward to this, because the current sign-up process is… Not the best. Verification emails take hours to arrive, if they arrive at all. And (as far as I can tell) there’s no way to re-send the email to try again; You’re just locked out of using that username and email address forever, because the email never arrived and you can’t re-attempt the verification.
Also, the “sorry, this doesn’t match our records” error when attempting to sign into an unverified account is confusing. It makes it sound like you may have mis-typed the username or password. It should probably be a more specific “you need to verify your account before logging in. Click here to re-send the verification email” message instead.
