Wow. He gone. It's a good situation for him. Bears have pieces and a QB. Just gotta get the right scheme and culture together.

Probably a smart gamble by the bears, a good offensive mind with some QB development chops. Williams had some serious growing pains this year, but also some clear strengths and fixable weaknesses. You need to bring in staff who can work on that.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen the Bears go out and get “the guy” before in a coaching search! They always try to be the smartest org in the room. I’m actually excited for the first time in a long time.

Hopefully this works out, because I could see the Mccaskeys regressing big time if it doesn’t. “We tried opening the pocket book and getting the hot item, and that didn’t work. Back to obscure off-radar rando hires!”
