Trump was asked by a reporter what he thought of the service after he left the cathedral on Tuesday. “Not too exciting,” he said. “They could do much better.”
What a lazy (and inhumane) response to a heart-felt sermon.

They now want to deport her for hurting his feelings.
….on what grounds do they want to deport her? lol.
Also, love the clown calling her a ‘hard left liberal’ for preaching mercy. You know, that thing that’s in the gospel?
I mean the Gospel also says it’s easier to put a camel through the eye of a sowing needle than for any rich person to not be justly suffer eternal torture for what they chose to do to others with their limited time on Earth. So if they think this is a hard left liberal just wait until one of these propagandists actually reads the Bible and all it’s talk about unconditional love, support, and liberation.
The key to being a good propagandist, is to pick and choose only the parts that suit them, and hope most people didn't bother reading the actual source.
Once upon a time, I was Catholic, then read the Bible, then worked in SEO, then couldn't in good faith do either anymore.
Damn that's actually the good outcome. Idk, maybe I'm just expecting the worst, but I was expecting them to put her on a hit list. When I saw her speak, I thought it seemed like a historic moment.
She looked them all in the eyes and said what all rational people are feeling. She did it with far more compassion than any of them deserved, too.
It's rather absurd that people get surprised when religious leaders are compassionate. But that's the world we live in!
Is it off the table, though?
Justice Sotomayor wrote. "In every use of official power, the President is now a king above the law."
Sounds to me like she’s doing her job well. Preaching mercy, kindness, and love is what reverends are supposed to do. If Trump feels personally attacked by that, he should ask himself why.
He won’t, though. Lashing out like an angry toddler is his go-to response to anything that doesn’t feed his ego.
As many have said, the fake GOP Christians would have derided Christ as a hippie or deported him if he showed up today.
Everyone in any sort of official role needs to stop playing around Trump.
Make it public and officially known how much the world despises Trump. Call him out publicly, don't give false polite greetings be gruff and rude to him. Fuck it if there are tariffs. Trump needs to know that friends are more valuable than enemies.
