(sorry, long rant)

It's honestly impossible to list them all, what I'm going to cover is basically less than 3 minutes of an hour long video:

In the early part of his video Louis makes the case that Linus should have made a video IMMEDIATELY when he learned that there was something somewhat fishy with Honey, how everything would have definitely turned different had he did, that it was his sole responsibility as an "influencer"

But that's not the part I want to talk about. The part I want to talk about is about how after making a few collabs with Linus he then had a few mildly confrontational email exchange regarding a potential LTX appearance. The way he brings it up "ah I really wanted to go public about this 5 years ago, I regret not doing so because who knows how many people he tried to manipulate. Anyway..." Before going into his rant.

Hmm. What is that Louis? A business partner turned out to be not what you expected? Manipulative? Deceptive maybe? Someone you openly considers the biggest influence on the industry? And you.... Didn't... Make a video? Oof. Seems like you didn't have your audience's best interest at heart there Louis.

He then goes onto his rant, shows very quickly screenshots of emails but only reads out loud the part that upsets him. According to him the emails were very unprofessional. Later he shows more screenshots about the email that he himself sent. Only for a fraction of a second though. He does not at any point explains the actual context of the altercation. Because to get it you'd have to pause on the right 0.5 second. Turns out... Oh shit, Linus was right to be upset! Louis made false statements, when those statements were disproven by emails dated multiple days prior. And then refused to make a retraction! (Sounds familiar?)

He then goes on about how unfair it is for Linust to complain about a broken motherborard considering how much LTT is making. Unfortunately for him the same emails he flashed on screen... Literally shows Linus addressing this argument, and goes into details about how back when this incident happened LMG was, in fact, not making a profit. He literally tells you one thing, after flashing evidence disproving it entirely. And base his argument by showing how much sponsors pays for videos, even have official documents.... That shows LTT as a channel with 13+ million subscribers. Placing those documents years after the motherboard was broken.

So.... Yeah. I now get why he and Steven get along so well, and it makes me reconsider everything Louis has done up to this point if that's the kind of "quality evidence" he brings to the table in his takedown video while trying to defend another industry liar....

And again that is 3 minutes of his 1h video.
