Hey folks - I have a friend that is struggling immensely with their mental health. They are a wreck- incredibly anxious every day, having panic attacks/breakdowns several times a day and it is impacting their ability to maintain relationships, and their quality of life. Their work isn’t impacted, but that’s because they are a bit of a workaholic. But that’s kind of all they do. They withdraw from everyone. Where would I begin? They don’t have any benefits. Therapy is way too expensive for them. They are currently unmedicated, have tried a few meds that didn’t work, but they also struggle with their tolerance during the adjustment period and often will just quit them. But I think it’s gotten to the point where they would be willing to try again.
