According to their official AIB Retailer, the Radeon RX 9070 XT's pricing were originally meant to be $900 and for 9070 non XT is $750 and they were meant to launch at January 23rd 2025 but AMD Radeon delayed it due to unexpected aggressive cheaper pricing of Nvidia RTX 50 series line up that made AMD RTG's original pricing strategy obsolete, therefore they had to delay the launch of RDNA 4.

If these were really what is going on behind the scenes with AMD Radeon RDNA 4 launch, then no wonder why it got delayed, AMD Radeon's being considerably more expensive than Nvidia RTX is pretty much a big joke considering their tiny MarketShare and worse feature set, those pricing even if we account for tax and AIB premium is just very bad compared to Nvidia's RTX 5070's $550 - 5070 Ti's $750.

Performance leak is also all over the place, some are claiming 7900 GRE - 7900 XT / 4070 Ti & S performance, some say it is around 7900 XTX / 4080S. What is almost certain though is both of these RDNA 4 GPUs seems like will directly compete against the RTX 5070 - 5070 Ti which will land at around the same performance basing on scalability calculation of RTX 5090's performance.
